Highlights:Archaeological wonders of the Masada fortress See the unique beauty of the Judean Desert Hike in the Ein Gedi nature reserve and play in the natrual springs, waterfalls and pools. Float in the Dead Sea and relax on its salty shores.Description:On this full day, action-packed tour, you'll visit three of Israel's most popular tourist sights: Masada, Ein Gedi and the Dead Sea. First you'll stop at Masada, now desginated a UNESCO world heritage site. Masada is the site where 960 Jewish rebels fought against the Romans and in a final act committed suicide rather than surrender. Here, archaeological experts have painstakingly recovered and restored all sorts of treasures including the bath house, synagogue and other buildings. From here you can also enjoy stunning views over the Judean desert and Dead Sea. Following your descent down from the top of Masada you will drive a short distance to the Ein Gedi nature reserve. Here you will partake in 2 ½ hour hike through the amazing landscape littered with waterfalls and pools to swim and play in. The reserve is also filled with amazing desert plants, vegetation and wildlife. The final stop on the tour will be to the world famous Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth, where you can experience the feeling of floating. Due to the high salinity of the water in the Dead Sea it is impossible to sink. You can also take advantage of the mineral rich muds and cover your body in a therapeutic mask. If none of this takes your fancy you can also simply relax on the beaches or salt plains. Included to all sites Not included: Lunch and drinks Ein Gedi entrance (29 NIS) entrance (29 NIS) or Masada entrance with cable-car (76 NIS)
