Tea Travel TOUR

Have you always dreamed about visiting China’s lush, green, and gorgeous tea gardens? Excited to personally pick fresh tea leaves during the spring harvest? Thrilled to discover first-hand China’s lesser known regions where traditional craftsmanship continues to thrive? Join us for a trip to some of China’s most beautiful and culturally rich patches of countryside to fully immerse yourself in tea. We will be exploring two of China’s more off-the-beaten path southern provinces: Jiangxi and Anhui to discover their local tea and porcelain traditions. Jingdezhen in Jiangxi has been the porcelain crafting capital of China for over 1000 years and home to China’s imperial kilns. You will have a chance to visit not only the historical imperial kilns but also the studios of contemporary porcelain artists. We will visit three different tea growing areas in both Jiangxi and Anhui so you will have a chance to experience the diversity of China’s famous green teas. You will have a chance to pick your own tea, observe how tea is harvested, and visit secluded tea villages. To ensure you have the richest possible experience you will be accompanied at all times by passionate experts who are there to answer each and every one of your questions. We created this itinerary to share our most memorable experiences discovering Chinese tea and teaware and are excited to be your guides Throughout the trip we will have mini-workshops and seminars on Chinese tea or teaware traditions to give some added context and background for all the amazing experiences you will encounter during the day. You can relax and enjoy yourself in the hands of China travel pros Stretch-a-leg Travel.
